About Us

The Beer Crate is the brainchild of presenter, Steven Goodwin. A software engineer by trade, he is also known for writing books on computer games and open source, as well as for his articles about museums and magic.

His interest in beer favours strong and dark ales, medium ciders, and Belgian fruit beers.

To avoid confusion with other beer writers, and with his various namesakes, Steven doesn't currently write for any other beer forum or magazine using his own name. So, if you see any posts pertaining to be from me - it isn't me!
